1967/1966 Business Strike Or SMS Jefferson Nickels?

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 11/01/2017 8:11 pm I just recently purchased the three SMS sets, for the purpose of replacing my missing Proofs! I was hoping the steps may be a hint, but no luck all three have poor step definition. Only difference I can tell when matching with my brand new 68 proof set are the fields, both arebuffed to a high sheen, proof being a touch clearer. Both are a big jump over the 68 mint set I have. I would have to say, since SMS is "Prooflike" that any of yours without that sheen ain't one. If it ain't like a proof, it aint SMS. Of yours. 1 & 4 have possibilites, reflective fields and the FS is sharp, that's about the only difference I see, a sharper initials.
