I would like to know what the average price a dealer would give for proof sets and mint sets? This question is about the sets from 1993 to 2014. I am interested in the price as it relates to grey sheet bid and ask. Thanks in advance.

The corner shop will usually pay about 70% of bid. Arizona Coin and Jewel will pay about 90% for most dates. Motivated buyers usually pay about 110% of bid plus shipping.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

That is a wide range of years for mint or proof sets and some are more desirable than others. Therefore, individual dates and set type would allow us to give you a much more specific answer.

If you walk into a local shop that has seven of each that never sell, you might not get a lot more than face value.

If you find a new collector, you would both prosper. He would be happy to buy them for more than ask, especially if you found a local buyer so there was no shipping costs.

The dealer I shop from pays 70% of grey sheet bid.
On any year. I think of the years you mentioned 2012 is the only one that is in demand.

Proof sets are so out of popularity that I'm only surprised that they aren't being given away.

I am not sure about the silver ones, thanks for the welcome and at least now I have an idea on what can be expected.
