I use the cliff method. Going from one grade to the next eventually hits a huge jump in prices. That is almost always associated with a much lower number available.
As an example a common date Peace can be had in 65 for around $100. Going to a 66 takes you three times higher, but doesn't hit a monster jump until 67.
66 is at the bottom of the (upward) cliff of 67.
There are exceptions. The Peace 34-S you mention as an example.
In that instance (as it always should be) the look is much more important than the grade only. A 58 can be great looking next to an ugly 62.
