Evening all.

I attended the St. Charles Coin Show yesterday and picked up a few items. Among which is this small Indian coin. I believe it to be from a Southern Indian Princely State but am unsure and would appreciate help IDing it.
I know the front is a bit rough. The front design appears to consist of three circles with dots in their centers, if that helps.
Diameter is 9mm.
Obverse:
Southern-Indian?-Princely-States?-Coin
Reverse:
Southern-Indian?-Princely-States?-Coin
As always, thanks for any help you all can provide!

I had intended to get to the show this weekend, especially since I live a few miles away, but life had other plans.

Not my area, but looks like a "Sri Vira" in Telugu reverse. Seen similar reverses on coins of the Madurai Nayak Dynasty, but can't place the obverse.

@ svnhson
This indeed is a South Indian coin. On these images, you can see the legend "Sri vi ra" written in Kanarese script. This legend is found on anonymous coins of Madurai Naiks. Other side will have figures of deities, animals etc..

Letter "sri" is struck in a slightly different way on this coin. This is a very common feature with Naik coins.

Find a coin with similar legend here where "vi" also is on the top row.

hi drnsreedhar, It was suggested that you could possibly help with the identification of an ancient coin. May I send you a link to the discussion?

Thank you so much. Below is the link. The coin was found somewhere in the Dodecanese.
