There's a slice/line mark on my 1963 D Jefferson nickel. Not sure if it's damage or an error. It even affects the top and bottom rims. Take a look. Thanks.  |

@dfnkjaws, yes I agree with the ithers that your nickel was just damaged after it left the mint. It can be safely spent.

One thing I've learned from people on this site is if the edge is deformed it's almost always PMD or PSD. |
