I don't see it, where do you exactly see the doubling?

Looks like MD on that area. This happens when the machine is loose a bit and after the strike happens, it damages the fresh struck devices on the coin. This can be major or minor. It can even be on just one device or many. Normal die, coin damaged after the strike.

Left side of these devices. See the flattened area where the devices are reduced. The is called MD.
