Hello, coinsguy999!
Unfortunately, I can't see any special.

If you are referring to this section of the rim then a more detailed photo would help decide.

Sorry it is kind of hard to get a good image but the coin itself appears to be alot more defined and deeper in its press and around that area of the rim (but a bit lower than the arrow is pointing in coasters post) it does look like its got some sort of a dip in the middle especially when compared to other 2 dollar coins

Not sure what year your coin is coinsguy999, but that type of occurrence is fairly common on 1998 - 2001 coins. I'll try to remember to post some piccies tomorrow.

These aren't exactly the same as the OP's coin, but similar.

I can't recall if anyone ever came up with an explanation for these.

Maybe the result of a worn die as this looks very similar? http://goccf.com/t/284773

the OP coin is what is commonly called a MAD coin, Misaligned Die. the coin planchet was not seated correctly between the hammer and anvil dies, when the coin was struck, the flanged edge was outside of the hammer die.

In the OP's coin this is a minor example, and would not generate any extra premium on the coin as an error.
