Does this fit in the UK forum? Somewhere else?
I am confused about this coin.
I am almost certain that it is a Obverse Type A/Reverse Type I and the diameter is 30.5 mm suggesting Calcutta mint.
Reading the NGC website I cannot find this variety. Bombay does have an A/1 0/0 but not Calcutta.
So where do I go wrong?
While you are here, please comment on the coin's grade. Is it Unc. or AU. (with a weak struck cross on crown)?
EDIT: BTW serious die clash on the left of "ONE RUPEE"

Looks UNC to me, I'm not seeing any wear on the crown jewelry. A few bag marks, but still UNC.
