Won this Large Cent off of ebay and gave it an acetone soak with a Verdi-Care treatment. The ebay pics sucked so I took a chance, and yeah it needed a little help! After the care it doesn't look bad - won it for 12$, grade?

Disagree - Still appears a details coin with lots of crud around star 6 and in center of reverse. This is an ED coin, always will be.

cleaned up nice but I agree the ED crowd. the area around star 6 and dig near star 13 may pull that designation

We're not tough, just honest. Tell you what - submit this to either PCGS or NGC, and if it comes back straight, I'll pay all associated costs,with the whole forum as witness to this promise! Fair?

Sure that's fair but to spend all that $$$ on grading fees for a 12$ coin would be not so smart!
