Found in old roll lined up one after the other. The obverse lettering on one is enlarged and on the other normal and the reverse one is big and the other is big on top of letters and gets smaller toward the bottom

Shellyma, First to the Community.

Those are Jefferson nickels and not Pennies ( I am sure it was a mis-type!) the enlarged devices you see are due to DDD ( Die Deterioration Doubling) ,commonly seen on earlier type Nickels, the Dies were used much longer than they were intended to.

So now that I'm officially embarrassed for my lack of brain this morning. Wondering if they are worth keeping or is there any value in DDD

No, not worth keeping, they're pretty common. The only value I see in them is you now know one particular thing that has no value other than face amount. Better luck on the next one.

Probably 300K plus of them in that die state. So they are spenders.
