Have you tried to soak it in pure Acetone? it may be glue.Your lower pics are blurry, so it's hard to tell if it is a struck thru.!!

Chase007, its cut into the surface. Its just really strange how it curls around like that. Maybe just a odd scratch.

It would be very nice find if it turns out to be a struck thru. fiber or wire. but would need a better close ups and focused.

The overlapping curly-Qs indicate a struck-thru fiber or hair. See how it has sunk (think mirror reverse) into the devices. Nice find, need clearer pix to fully determine but appears so...

What would the fiber look lik it it were still on the coin? I found one like that with the fiber in place:
