Called a lamination error. It is considered a planchet flaw and not worth but a buck or so...put it this way, put it up on ebay for $300, someone with little numismatic knowledge and less real common sense may just buy it, weirder things have been sold...daily unfortunately for those of us who do try to sell error coins of worth!

@amber, I agree with @crazyb0 that Lincoln has a retained lamination in his hair. Nice find!

Looks like a "cracked skull " or rather die cracks in the hair and forehead. The mid fifties Lincolns had plenty of dies end up this way.

@stoneman227, wouldn't die cracks show up as raised areas on the coin's surface? These look incuse to me.

They are raised. It is just that some are raised more than others.

Yep, it's an RIDB. A couple steps beyond a "cracked skull". They appear as lamination flaws because the interior part of the die that broke away can sink back into the die and create a "plateau" of sorts on that area of the coin. If the interior die section that broke then fell out, coins struck with that would have simply an Interior Die Break with no design in that area, hence the "Retained" qualifier.
