Is this a doubled die? Or is it MD? It looks like splits at a few ends

Looks like you have an example of the master die doubling for that year. About 1/2 of the coins from all three mints have this issue. Here is what to look for on these.

Yep, always look at the upper left tip of you in TRUST, NW doubling is MDD,

He meant The upper left upright on the letter 'U' of TRUST. (One device that I didn't put on the images)

Here is an old thread from last year that helps speed up the search on the bigger 1972 DDO's

The Master die doubling does not shoe this affect like the other major DDOs do. I had to look to find it.
