I took these pics myself. Coin looks very pleasing. I paid $25 from a seller on ebay a few yrs ago.   Thing is, there's a series of fine scratches that run diagonally across the face, from the first T in States down to the 63. They show mainly under a 5x loupe and if the coin is tilted just at the right angle to a strong light. And, try as I might, the scratches wouldn't photograph. The seller never mentioned any damage but it explains the cheap price. How would this figure in your grading? Thanks for any input.

Looks like a 53, but I agree that the photos are just fuzzy enough that some of the key features aren't clear enough.

Agree pics are fuzzy and I cannot see the scratches but from what I can see it looks au55-58. If scratches are prominent then it might be details but cannot tell from these pics.

AU55, original color, I don't see anything other than would be expected from light circulation. Attractive little nickel cent.

Thanks for the opinions. I like it, too, and it's why I kept it. But it's a warning to myself- scratches can be there without showing.
