Is this the result of some type of die clash? It doesn't line up with the normal overlay. I would like your opinion. Thanks for looking.

Planchet flaw perhaps, most likely is a grease strike thru. a clash wouldn't be reaching that far into the incuse device on the die, cheek/hair are deepest cuts into the die.

Thanks Mark and Crazyb0. There is no clue of damage as the surface of the indentation is like the rest of the coin. No metal disturbed or the like. Thought it was interesting.
