I am new to collecting and I am trying to build a collection with a variety of different coins... I have been checking the local flea markets, and peddlers malls and I found a guy who's whole booth was just junk and old tools however he had a few coins (6 in total)
3 of them were Indian Head cents 1903, 1905, and 1907 he had a price on them $5.00 for all 3... they were in what I would call "fair" or "good" condition... I'm no grader though...

What do you guys think? Good buy?

Well, $5 isn't a lot, even without seeing the coins. That said, I have found XFs for those years for $1-2. I may have some extras if you're need certain dates.
and I'll comment further on your IHCs.

yea I'm a cheapy though, I dont have alot of cash to spare on my coin collecting addiction so I try to keep my purchases small and spaced out, but mostly its been more recent years and modern coinage, here I am dabbing a little out of my already small knowledge base...

It pays being a "cheapy"! I've found some great finds in dealer bargain bins. Here's a coin I found for $2 at a show. This is the Snow-1 "1 in neck" variety. Rick Snow prices this in VF20 around $275.

John, I'll need to check on my extras. In the meantime, here's how things are setup on the boards.
