Been here in the coin game nearly a year now, and it's a good day to reflect on things. Here are my major observations:

- Cleaning coins is bad, and they should stopping making one cent coins.
- Having explored both type collecting and series collecting, I think I prefer series. Have not yet decided which to chase next, but going for types is a good way to ferret that out.
- Bust half nut club is a funny name.
- Cameo circulation is the best!
- Larger coins are my preference, quarters at a minimum.
- Silver, not gold. Old copper is nice but never grabbed me in the same way.
- If push comes to shove, I favor rare over high grade.
- Lots of smart and friendly people here. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
- Some day I will want to have good coin photography skills. Not yet, but someday.

That's it for now. I hope to post a completed 7070 in the coming weeks, certainly before EOY. When I joined I said my goal was the spend the year learning and acquire one big coin. I hope FUN 2018 (via Heritage) is when it happens. Happy thanksgiving all!
Rest in Peace

I think you answered your own question. The "next" series you should collect is Bust Halves if only so you can join the club

Circulation Cameos, coins which darkened from environmental impact while still in commerce so the toning was prevented where it was touched. They're the Oreos of numismatics - dark on the outside, white on the inside.

Wow this is a new term for me, even though I've seen effects like this.

Cameo circulation really does highlight the details, very nice!
