thisistheshow I found this info on numista with some reading and mintage figure. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ex...a158489.htmlAlthough this is series 1 I have not found a second series. Spuuuu Nice collection so far. I might pick up a couple of my favorite presidents down the road. |

@thisistheshow: Just to give proper credit...I believe the Presidential medals are owned by spruett001. He is the one who initially posted them.

Lots flashier in hand, this was an auction pickup from earlier in the pandemic, another of the seldom-seen British silver tokens in my collection that circulated during the last decade of King George III's reign. This 1811 18-pence beauty was issued by Edward and Francis Butt -- familiarly known as "The Butt Brothers" -- drapers, or tailors, who had their business in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
