Year/mint mark would be a great help here. Also an image of the date area would also help.

Looks like 1972P-1DO-002. But here is a side by side of the devices on this coin:

Thank you so much Cooper! It is a 1972 P. I have compared my photos to yours and they match up very nicely. My question is, does this mean I have 1972 P with Double Dies or Hub Doubling? I am new at this. I appreciate your knowledge of this coin! Thank you so much!

Hubbing creates the die. So when the die is double hubbed with a spread, then it is a hub doubled die. (Doubled Die) So it is both.

Yea you...could, sure you don't want to save it for your own collection? Guarantee you won't be finding an abundance of them things anytime soon. And If you do, please be reasonable, that coin in such a worn damaged condition isn't worth but $25 in F-12 which that looks even less w/damages. I imagine tho you could bilk some innocent for $100 or more, just not ethical IMHO.

BTW, just say DOUBLED DIE, that's the industry standard. We know it is a doubled hubbing process.

Most know it as a doubled die. 1972 die 2 doubled die.
