Your pic is totally blurry and unclear, considering the numerous hits and dings and scratches visible on your coin I'll venture a guess that it could be a damages.

Nothing that a flat-tipped screwdriver and hammer with a couple o' taps to the right wouldn't fix right up. They're called "fixer-uppers", put a little time and effort into it, then sell it on ebay for 10x its value......as a "Repaired Mint Error!

In this instance 10X the value would equal 50 cents.

That nickel has so many hits that even if it had a partial letter it would not change the value.
