Thank you guys for all the info. I am aware its not that rare of an item, but I love it. Although I believe the 1927 mintage was one of the lowest. Any one ever seed a 1911?

1911d is the rarest followed by 1914 (not d). And the 1914d is the third rarest. While I've seen a 1911d I doubt I'll ever own one even though I collect this series mostly. Hard to spend $5000 on an ugly low grade coin.
