Looking For Opinion On A A 1982-D Penny, I Can't Tell The Difference..

mtravao3 New Member United States 21 Posts	Posted 11/30/2017 07:31 am I was digging into a bunch of penny rolls that my grandma gave me that she has had for many years. Judging by the rolls it appears that they were all made no later than 1989 as that is the most current I could find so far. Oldest so far 1944. Anyways I come across this 1982 d penny. I can't tell if it's a large or small date. But I did weigh it and it weighs 3.1g. Error or no? * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

If I don't have the pics handy I just look at the "1" and the "9" in the year. A LD will have the top of the 9 slightly above the 1, whereas they are even on a SD. Report this Post to the Staff
