Does anyone know if there is a 2x2 staple flip made in the US that'll hold a Silver eagle? All I see are 2.5x2.5. I want to store Morgan's and want a bit of space around the coin. My storage boxes are all 2x2. A vendor and P/N would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I have never seen a 2x2 that will hold one. The one I bought to fill the hole in my 7070 was in a 2.5 x 2.5.
Rest in Peace

Store 2.5 x 2.5 in 12 pocket pages in a binder. That takes less space and you can enjoy your collection.

SE's are larger than Morgans or Peace dollars so they couldn't make a 2X2 for them.

Mox, I used the 2.5's to put all my large dollars in my "Expanded 7070" in vinyl, worked great and looks good too. The dollar size 2" won't handle SEs very well, kept breaking on me, wouldn't form a good air seal so defeats the porpoise.

I don't think it is possible to make eagles fit in a 2 X 2 due to space limitations

Yeah, it's looking that way. Was hoping someone made a 2x2 with a 41mm hole...that would be perfect. Would give you a bit over 3/16" around the hole to staple.

Had to do an experiment to see if it was possible. Yes, a 2.5 squared can be made into a 2x2. Here's what you end up with. Ugly, coin moves inside, etc.
The hole is 43mm according to my reloading calipers so it's a bit TOO big. Guess I'll stick with the ones made for Morgans. Too much of a PITA to make this.
