Hi. Me again. Still working on better photos. I did get a digital device but wasn't compatible with iPhone or my tablet so sent it back New one tomorrow. So Hang in there with me. Ok lmk if this coin is rare or a good coin. I have a few others that I will be posting shortly after. Been at this 2 weeks straight barley sleep. lol. Love it. I went to Double Die Eddie and put in Washington Qaurters errors and followed his guide this seems nice.

In seem uncirculated you can see the luster before close ups lol. Scratches etc. but rim and edge is sharp and no wear. My dad had some brand new stuff I just got too. God rest his sole. Hope it pays off.

Anyway. Seems to be so so so many errors it's crazy.
IGWT Doubling? Date? Face chin and lips into nose. Die crack neck. Die cracking bottom by date. Doubling in the pony tail and die crack or break and end.
Reverse. Die crack on and dbl on wings. Edge rim is weird and raised, like little metal fragments. Major die crack from the O in OF starts at rim and goes down straight threw the Eagles neck and out just below the nose or beek. Doubling and odd lettering in Motto weird texture. There is Douboing on the end of log and the leaves. Die crack through ITED in United. Very sharp detail bright and clear but threw the loupe it's again crazy crazy texture like thread of medal but clean. And last I think is. The Tallons not sure the deal just know they are very very Doubling or extra ones and long and sharp looking. The log is unreal detail from what I have seen so far. Again only been about 3 weeks now. Lmk what you all think and if I am getting little better. oMG so so much stuff my head is spinning. Small and large dates. No lint's. Mints. This year that year. no mint these years. Different yet differ style. Lol.

Thanks
Charles

P.s. can you get coins gradeded at shows? Can I get advice or money for coins or sell mine to dealers? How can I send a coin to be graded and have some clue of the value. What happens when a person sends a coin and ends up $100k. Lol some big error What do you pay? To have it graded? So so confused. My dad had a bunch of Kennedy's half's and like new sending next.

Sorry I have so many Questions. I need a coin sponsor. Lol help and guided me on the right path.

@tman, that is a nice silver quarter that you have there. I'll let others weigh in about the apparent doubling and die cracks, but:

Dude, you need to get some sleep. This is a marathon not a sprint! Hang out here at CCF and listen to what our experts have to say about others' coins. You will definitely get better at recognizing things yourself.

It will be first coin show so little excited and really like to have a clue if I sell or buy anything and don't get ripped off or taken advantage of. What grade would you say that Quarter is? Just some in out I was thinking Au 61 to 63? Close? Lol crazy all the factors

Well, enjoy the coin show, but be aware of your surroundings and accordingly careful. This will be a very good opportunity to observe the buying and selling of coins. Certainly you can overpay at this venue, but I don't think that anyone will be looking to rip you off. You can likely do a bit of haggling on prices, especially if you pay in cash and the dealer doesn't need to pay credit card fees on the transaction.

You should probably review the grading system that is used for US coins. Here is a link to the information on CCF: https://www.coincommunity.com/us_coin_grading/

Keep in mind that only coins that are uncirculated will have numbers assigned to them at 60 to 70. Any coin that is Almost Uncirculated necessarily would be less than a 60 (most often AU-55).

Go too the table of the happiest looking old guy.

He may give some free advice and will probably be glad to get you started. Just be sure to buy something from dealers willing to educate and always remember if they are or become busy with another buyer that patience is a virtue.
