coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/01/2017 3:59 pm The more the die chips away, the higher the area looks raised on the coins. The devices like the eye are not quite as deep as the tallest head devices. So it maybe affected as a mid device. Thus you see the eye area affected sometimes when a die is heavily polished. Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74770 Posts	Posted 12/01/2017 6:47 pm What you see on his eyelids are Die Chips from coin being in a VLDS (Very Late Die State). A keeper too since there's tons of Die Chips. Looks like Roosevelt is crying. I will call this one the "Crying Roosevelt" variety. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
