Hi all. I am a big fan of the Dansco supreme albums (with slip case) and would like to keep a few slabbed coins with the rest of an album. I noticed Dansco makes 4 slot vinyl pages, I think for baseball cards, but I am wondering if amyone here has tried to combine those vinyl pages into an album for coin slabs and can comment. I imagine thickness is something I would need to account for, as well as validate the overall page height, width, and binder hole placement fit.
Rest in Peace

9 pocket pages with 3 ring binder holes work great. I've been using them since they were first introduced with nothing but fantastic experience with them.

They are made for a typical 8 1/2 x 11 binder.

I just received my 4 slot, 3 slot, and a whole page Dansco vinyl pages from Valley Coins.

They look very heavy-duty and will fit your Dansco perfectly.

I'm in the process of cracking open some slab coins to fill in my 7070 holes.

I have several Dansco albums with 12-pocket pages. This is how I store all of my coins in cardboard 2x2 holders. The pages have held up well over they years. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the other pocket sizes.

I have dozens of the 3-pocket and 1-pocket pages for paper money in several 7001 albums that I use for US paper money storage. No issues over the past 3 years.

I've never combined the 1-pocket and 3-pocket pages with regular Dansco coin album pages so I don't know if there is anything to worry about from a cross-contamination or reaction perspective, but Dansco makes archival quality stuff, so I doubt it.

However... KEEP IN MIND that coin pages and the vinyl pages for 7001 albums are different dimensions. If you put the 7001-sized pages in a regular coin album such as an 8100 or 8113, they will stick out past the hardboard covers a bit.

I remember when you pointed that out before. A good reminder.

Thanks for the posts guys. My specific concern is around fit, which it sounds like I am right to be concerned. I may just have to try and see. I don't know if the vinyl pages I am looking at are for 7001 albums.

I am happy to report the 4-slot vinyl page fits perfectly in the Dansco album! Now I need to go buy some slabs to fill the empty pockets.
