The rays type is probably the last upgrade I need for my type set. Hard to find one with a full strike that isn't pushing $2k

Thoughts on this one?

What are the mark's on the reverse between the letters and the rim? They look like indentations not cracks or clash mark's.

Newer die obverse matched with a well used reverse die. Good solid mostly even strikes. Much better than average luster flow. Excellent reverse stars.

Strait out 65. I would accept this as a Christmas present.

I don't really like the surfaces of this coin. Choice and gem pieces have even undisturbed luster. This is very far from that. It may be mint state but looks au58 to me. Lots of contact marks on this coin.
