I know how you feel. An incomplete task goes against my grain. I hate seeing empty holes as well!

The Large cents are 29MM to 28.5MM but even the 28MM extra page I put in there is too big for 28.5. I thought I'd buy smaller then use my spindle sander to fit the coins - not needed. Are you sure Whitman albums ain't shipped in from overseas?

The new Whitman albums are made in China. Says so inside the front cover, lower right corner.

Go figure the Chinese figured the American collector will want a LC date album that can be completed as compared to Dansco that has varieties listed in it too!!

China? That answers the question. Whitman must be giving the spics to the Chinese manufacturer. Something is obviously lost in translation. It's like the junk we got out of Japan fifty years ago!
