I have a really nice 1865 in a PCGS holder, but the one in my Dansco was a scratched, corroded mess, so I picked this one up as an improvement. Thoughts on a grade? VG-F range?

Very nice! I always love these but seem to have trouble grading them, I think XF 45

Solid enough lines to reach 25, I believe.

As a bit of promotion I can tell you that this same coin, in a bit better grade, is one of the free hidden coins in my contest going on now.

Wouldn't doubt it. Most of the 1865s I see are clashed, ranging from mild to wild. My PCGS example is on the wild side, fully clashed on both sides with 180 degree die rotation to boot.
