I came across a penny that was beginning to lose it's outer layer. I sat it aside to look at later. When I came back to it I may have discovered something....Looking Back!

Looks like a mint employee placed the first D mint mark way off where it should have gone and spackled over it

Think of the alien spores that spread when that popped. You maybe OK, I suspect it happened a while ago and if the effects haven't happened by now...
