Wait! Quote:It has served its final purpose. Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina It worked! By looking at most large maps, Bosnia and Herzegovina looks like it has a somewhat-long border along the Adriatic Sea, but it is actually much, much smaller (see the map here). Croatia covers most of the sea, and any straight line to Italy is interrupted by Croatian islands. So... may I fill in the gap? Italy to Croatia: Then Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Then Bosnia and Herzegovina to Montenegro. Then Montenegro to Albania. Then Albania to Macedonia. Then Macedonia to Bulgaria. And we are currently in Bulgaria.

Quote:I'm also watching a set from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. That would be in Asia. If you look further, there are other places that issued coins not listed, say... Abkhazia. Depending on how far one wants to go, there are well over one thousand coin-issuing places I have not listed. To keep my own sanity, I would count Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh as being part of Azerbaijan, since that area is completely inside that country. Similarly, Abkhazia to Georgia, Transnistria to Moldova, or Somaliland to Somalia. Or, of course, any German state to Germany (assuming it was actually located in Germany). But that is just my way. Everyone else will have their own preferences.
