Burkina Faso shares a border with Benin However, in reviewing Numista, I am not sure that Burkina Faso has issued any legal tender specific to their country (not counting the CFA Franc). Everything seems to be either fantasy pieces or coins produced by other countries that aren't actually legal tender in Burkina Faso. Can anyone clarify? |

I believe the only coins minted for Burkina Faso have been under the CFA Franc. There was this thread on Numista discussing the coins from that country, and it seems like the more modern ones are legal tender. |
