I don't know if this one counts? Maybe only the modern (and expensive) NCLT's are allowed here?

I would say it counts!

I have a 2017 50 CFA franc coin from Burkina Faso. On Numista, only (expensive) coins made of gold or silver are listed valid Burkina Faso coins. The two base-metal coins from 2017 (including the 50 franc) are listed as fantasies.

This one? Seeing where the other 2017 coins are placed, it seems pretty strange that that coin is in the fantasy section. Even so, what I find even stranger is the fact that it has a KM-number. I am not sure was the UC part of the KM-number means, but I always thought the X-numbers were reserved for fantasy pieces. Now, this was the first Burkinabe coin that was listed on Numista, and that 50 franc piece was added after that, meaning its placement in the fantasy section was probably on purpose. Hm... I really do not know whether or not that coin would count.

Wow pepactonius, what a series of coins you've posted to help us whittle down the list!

I believe the only coins minted for Burkina Faso have been under the CFA Franc. There was this thread on Numista discussing the coins from that country, and it seems like the more modern ones are legal tender.

In looking over the recent coins, it appears many are produced by different countries/mints without any authority from Burkina Faso. Until we can find any definitive proof, I would argue we can't mark off that country yet. Maybe by the time we get around to this part of Africa again, we'll have more answers. @Joseph, what do you think?

Numista considers it a token, but I would argue that it counts because it appears to have been produced under government authority.

Grenada to Netherland Antilles... This covers Curacao, Bonaire, Saba, Sint Maartin and Sint Eustatius doesn't it?

EDIT: I see that the Netherland Antilles was dissolved on 10 October 2010.

@Joseph7420...What is that map that you referenced above with all the green on it? Is it something online and interactive that helps you keep track of countries collected?

Different mints produce the coins for different countries all the time, so I do not think that is an issue. And if the coins are legal tender in Burkina Faso, I would just assume that the government would have given some kind of authority to mint them (at least, I have never heard otherwise).

The map I am using comes from over here, but it is not something that keeps track of countries collected. All of that green I added through Paint.
