Someone is offering to sell me uncirculated canadian nickel rolls from 1962-1966 (one for each year) for $75 Canadian. Is this a good deal?

No one has answered yet... I take it no one wants to be the bringer of bad news?

I will give you a hint gawd0wns

If these coins are Mint roll this would mean uncirdulated and if you look in the charlton book for the MS63 19662-63-64 each coins is worth $ 1.00 and for 65 and 66 $ 0.50 each.so if you count the amount of mint uncirculated nickles I would say it's a good deal.but the final decision is up to you.

I would say bad Deal.. Now. I imagine that in a couple years.. maybe 40 or 45 years, that will be a good deal. You be the judge
a 50 dollar premium seems a little stiff.. Offer him 50 its double face value, I cant see him turning that down

The only potentially valuable find in this lot would be the 1964 Extra water line, approx. $20 in AU. The 1965 Large beads is too scarce @ 150$ in VF and probably filtered. In my buyer's opinion, everything else is worth nickel content below MS-63. From there and beyond only certified coins are meaningful.

So this is a very very bad deal if you can't find a couple extra water lines in the lot...

I'd agree with the rest. Excepting the XWL, these years are pretty hard to sell at raw "UNC", so they don't command much premium, and I'm sure any XWLs were removed. I think by nickel content, they're worth 0.11-12 each; so 2X face seems good.
