Focus and glare, makes me think MD, Die Deterioration or shearing effect of MD

Also a proof, I don't think they'd use a worn out die. Pics not great, I think MD.

Think-DD-Or-MD-On-1970-S-Quarter.
The proofs are struck two or more times. The die moved enough to not strike the planchet in exactly tha same place as the first strike.
