I just opened a roll of texas quarters and there is an anomaly on a few of them. I would appreciate it if you have one to share!

Maybe wrong, seems orientation or rotation maybe off above. Will look into more later. Thanks, Doug.

edit: overlays rotated 180° then flipped horizontal. Thanks, Doug.

Here it is. The last pic is the best I could come up with. It looks like a off center rotated clash. If that's possible I have no idea. So thanks for your advice!

The location for a clash in that area would be incorrect. Note the upper one looks in use on the coin? You can see the light reflecting on the wrong area. If it were a clash, the motto would have been involved. But it disappears behind the Texas outline. So I'm undecided what it is yet.

Maybe struck through a dropped letter or element. Another maybe is possible die dent.

Position for a clash seems a bit off. Thanks, Doug.

What's the possibility of a rotated clash? Very small I'm assuming. Would they be worth keeping? I have about 10 of them.

Rotated die clashes are possible. The thing I think I'm seeing here to make that case, the dies would've been rotated as well as misaligned and or possibly tilted.

I'd expect to see more (clash) evidence if that was the case. Note not seeing much in the way die abrasions.

All 10 the same location as this one? If so I think that would rule out dropped element. Thanks, Doug.

Follow up confirmation. My eyes keep playing tricks on me. Is the inside area between the partial loops raised or recessed? Thanks, Doug.

I looked at them all again,And all of them seem to be identical. The die chips on the face,The die flow ( possible) above the pan handle, and the ridge on the eastern most side of the state. The inside loop of what I thought was an "O" appears to have a small raised ridge.

Any thoughts on what this is? Should I keep or toss? Going to the bank tomorrow for more nickels and I would like to add them to the pile if they aren't worth keeping. Thanks!

I am guilty of holding on to coins for no good reason. Then again there is one that sticks in my mind from years ago that I thought was odd but tossed back. Big mistake with what I know now.
Just because it's an unknown doesn't mean they are not worth hanging on to.

Newbie , pm me before you toss them
