I thought Coin Prices was owned by the same company that puts out the Krause publications and not Collector's Universe.

Nope, Collectors Universe(parent company of PCGS) has nothing to do with Coin Prices magazine which is owned by Krause Publications. Misprint perhaps?

I've found not many coins sell anywhere near the published prices in coin values or Coin World or others. Do you think maybe just maybe the publications post unrealistic pricing? No would not happen. After all we have grading companies that are being graded by grading companies do you think this is good for hobby? A little off topic but... the hobby is becoming more of a profit center.
