Does anyone know what causes these? They're not PMD (that I can tell), they're not raised or indented, and don't show up on the letters or memorial. From some angles it looks like they're in the metal itself, but from others it almost looks like they were polished to a higher sheen than the rest. I'm stumped.

I don't think so, they're not raised at all. My other thought was roller marks, but they're shinier, not duller.

Bubble plating. Not a keeper. I would keep it if it looks like this. But even mine is not worth anything

The OP coin looks like the die bad some feeder finger scrapes on the die. Note how the line disappears behind the devices. (FG area) if this were linear plating bubble, it would flow over the devices.
