coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/15/2017 8:39 pm The last image shows Machine Doubling. Note the reduced size of those devices? On the bottoms of those devices. Your inverted color images shows this every time. This is caused by die movement after the strike. Normal die, devices damaged. On a doubled die, the doubling in on the die, not created by the strike. But MD happens on doubled dies as well. But your coin was struck with a normal die and damaged after the strike.
