It does look suspect. Here's an image of the 1999-D in my Dansco album that has developed a nasty spot and needs to be replaced for comparison...

Looks normal from what I can see.  The last image is what the doubled ear looks like this year.

Hi, I have found lots of those I'm pretty sure it's a loose die, remember a true double die comes from the hub not the die

If you are looking for the Wide 'AM' on the Denver cents, that is a waste of time. There are none. The Denver mint creates their own dies, so the wide 'AM' could not happen on them. Not sure what your thinking the DDO is on this years coin. The DDO's were on the Philly cents. ( Not Denver coins)
