Well as you can see I am stuck with this coin. Was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's a doubled die or maybe an RPM? Would be cool if both but I don't think that it's even either. Just wanted other opinions just to make sure so I can get out of the mud with this one. Lol. Thank you for any help, much appreciated

Interesting, I'm sure one of the experts will chime in soon. I've notice many 80's cents look odd like that. Hopefully you have something. The MM looks as if something is going on with it. One of you photos shows something g on it's west side. Good luck.

Only one that is similar is 006, placement is wrong tho. The inside curve isn't part of RPM, abraided die maybe. The lower serif does look split with a tilted extra vertical bar, but there's a hit on the high side...not sure if lower at serif point is damage or not...as coop says"I don't know stack". It might be, or just a weirdly placed hit?

Thanks guys. Yeah it will be in that I don't know stack if I cant figure it out. That 8 does look very strange, and the mintmark aswell. But anyways I appreciate the comments. You crazyb are alway doin a good job. :) thanks again. And I agree, mike. Those 80s coins are always making me do weird angles with my magnifying glass. Lol.

I can certainly see why you would ask. I'm not seeing anything too special on this one.

I have no uncertain pile. If it doesn't jump off the table and bite me on the nose, back to the bank is the only pile I have.

The date looks like Die Deterioration is starting to show on that area. Mint mark looks flat on the area in question. I don't see it on the date, but other areas may show MD? So a closer view might be needed unless you fing MD on other areas.
