Found what I think is a strang coin, never seen it before. It's tiny so not the best quality pictures. The prints stick out of the coin maybe 1-2 mm
Reads- sancta Maria ad nives ora pro nobis
- dedicatio s.mariae ad nives
Assuming they're some sort of religious statements.

Its not a coin, it is a medallion. There was probably a shank to put on a necklace, or the entire medallion might have been encased by a bezel.

Catholic charm or jewelry piece. The reference is to the famous St. Mary of the Snows Basilica in Rome - in Italian, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the Church of St. Mary Major, as seen on one side. There are lots of other churches named St. Mary of the Snows, too.

Formerly (in Latin) she and her basilica were venerated as Sancta Maria Ad Nives, and a feast day was celebrated for the dedication of her basilica on August 5 -- the day (ca. 350 AD) when snow supposedly miraculously fell at the hilltop site of the original Basilica in Rome in the middle of summer: nives = snows. In the modern Calendar it is now called simply the Dedication of the Basilica of Saint Mary, still on August 5.
