So does anyone see the price for these dropping? I did not buy one 2 weeks ago because everyone said they were going to crash. But now all I see is the prices increasing, around $100 these past 2 weeks.
Should I grab one now or keep waiting?

I hate to post again but I just learned something new. The 1995-W proof Silver eagle had a mintage of 35k and is nearly $5k or more, this UNC has an estimated mintage of 46k. A lot of people collect silver eagles, there is no way I see the price dropping on these as everyone who collects them wants to get at least ONE to set away.

I just got my issue of Coin World and there is a write up on page 18 about these. It confirms that apx 47,000 of these were released. I would agree that this may be the 2nd key date for this seires.

This is an interesting read on this ASE 08/07 auction. The seller is claiming there are other varieties to this variety! I see what he is talking about in his pics. He is selling them BIN for 700 bux! And that is ungraded! http://cgi.ebay.com/2008-W-Reverse-...ny_W0QQitemZ150245701361QQihZ005QQcategoryZ39488QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The last 6 I tracked on ebay sold for $315.00 to $320.00 and the ones I am watching now are in the same range with hours left.... Seems like these things keep climbing.

The "PCGS MS70" prices are going through the roof.
I was tracking a BUY IT NOW- PCGS MS70 for $1,999.00- someone bought it- gone! There is another one PCGS MS70- its already at close to $1,700.00 and has 6 days to go yet.
Another person is offering a BUY IT NOW for ONLY $2,999.00 for a PCGS MS70-
Prices are going nuts!

How did you guys end up with these errors? Did you just order some for usmint.com or what? Please count me in this. haha. Ohh and where is the best place to order them for a cheap price. I know that everyone on hear order the 2008 ASE but some ended up with the 2008/2007. Do you guys think it is still possible to get one of these if I order it off the usmint site?

Is not MS-70 a perfect coin this in an error and should never grade higher than MS-69 or they are calling them a perfect error.

I don't think that PCGS and NGC are calling this an error (2008W ASE with 2007REV) and they are grading them MS70 etc. I read elsewhere that this is a Variety. Error/Variety-?

(FYI)
Just got my order from the Mint today- placed the order May 14th-
It has the normal 2008 Reverse, not the 07.
Guess the 07 Rev has been stopped.
*Glad I bought one with the 07 Rev earlier.*
