The Mint did not track separate mintages for each of the varieties, just that Philly made 10.7 billion and Denver made 6 billion. The switch happened in November of 1982, so it's estimated that only 5-10% of 1982s are zinc. Still, that is more than many regular years, so no extra value there.
The 1982-D small date in copper is the BIG rarity; currently only one is known and I believe it fetched ~$30,000 at auction earlier this year. For that reason alone, I check every 1982-D small date, and they have all been zinc.
