Here is a link to the page on the Mint's site. I think it's a pretty cool design and an amazing subject to have on a coin.

Love to see One of My Childhood Idles depicted on a coin's reverse!!! Ran the 100 yard dash in practice at 9.9 seconds!!!

A true American hero, both with and without his sports reputation.

I personally am very pleased with that selection.

I looks nice. The drawings are always a little iffy. I expect it will look better as an actual coin.

The proposed designs for this coin were released 2 years ago. I did (and do) like the one they chose the best

It will be interesting to see how this design looks in the reverse proof set.

I like it. I used to live an hour away from Jim Thorpe, PA and passed it many times on 476. It wasn't until I moved away from the area that I found out that it wasn't just an odd name for a town.

Any of those three figures would have made a fine design. As it is, this looks awfully busy. I collect this series -- I hope it looks better in-hand.

As I said above, I expect it will look better as an actual coin. I have gotten use to the fact that these drawings are never realistic depictions of the engraved design. I am always optimistic the coins will render the image quite nice.

I'm predicting right now it'll look terrible. It's okay at best, but they'll mess up the finishes and make it look even weirder

It would look really cool with an enhanced uncirculated finish, but who knows if it will be made this year. Reverse Proof could be interesting.
