I think the prices are actually falling back to where they should be since all the excitement has gone away on these sets. I think within the next year or so we should see them stabilizing to where then they will settle for awhile in prices. I may be wrong but I know the prices have fallen backwards the past 2 months on PCGS price guide

I am not sure what the actual mintage of the 2006 reverse proof was, but no doubt it will be one of the key coins for the set. As far as the value goes, I agree with Bryan1315

Well we can never know what will happen is 10 or so year. I know I was happy to get my sets at cost from the mint and I don't think I wasted my money it a nice historic set in my mind

I also ordered 20 sets from the mint and gave most of them away for Christmas presents (I had to order 10 for my address and 10 for my aunts next door)

I purchased 2 from the mint and sold one of them when the prices peaked. I thought about selling the other set, but I am having trouble parting with it.

With a mintage of 250,000, its still a key to the series.
