I'm new here, but I'll try to upload good pics. I need to see if anyone can tell what this is on the coin. On the obverse is the building and on the roof there are little drops/specs idk what to call it. It's not on the other coin so idk. I was just told when sorting out your coins to look at the same coin same mint mark in a group. If it's a post mint error I'm wondering how these got there and only need there? Please help a newborn. His is more complicated than I thought lol Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏;#127997;!

@Newnow88, first welcome to CCF. Second, I think that I see what you are talking about--there is a series of three parallel dashes right on the roof's edge and then at least three other marks further up the roof. All of these appear to be caused by damage to the coin after it left the mint. Sometimes, for example, when the reeded edge of another coin hits a flat field, the result is a series of parallel lines. Others will weigh in quickly I'm sure, but I don't see an error here.

To CCF! It's Post Mint Damage as you can see the pushed up metal. Probably caused by edge reeding of another Quarter.

I agree with ( Errors and Variety's) , take another one of your Quarters and roll it over yours and you should see the lines will match up . I see this all the time and do not understand how a coin can drop that hard in the Mint Coin chutes and leave a mark ,unless it has the Speed of a Rocket in Orbit

They leave the mint in Ballistic Bags that are over 2,500 pounds, easily enough weight to do this during shipment.....
