A couple of posts ago I was searching for information on a mystery image on a pressed LMC:

A-Running-Thread-Of-Chafemasterj's-Counterstamped-Lincoln-Cents.

Surprisingly I just received in the mail a small lot that I purchased and lo-and-behold this was in it:

Same image only seems to be holding a scimitar. Still on the hunt for information. Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide. I've spent a couple of hours on my phone looking. Now that I have the laptop out maybe I'll use it this morning to search. The hunt is on.

The number of different counterstamps is amazing. Was this a particular thing for USA as most examples seem to be on USA coins?

Dennman. Huh. I see that now that you mention it. Thank you. Don't know what I was thinking there. Looks like the other one I had posted above is just the crescent moon part of the Shriner's emblem upside down as well.

Edit: Looking back at the top example I see that the sword is present, it's just tucked behind the crescent and not out in the open.

Yes, I think so. The 60s, 70s and 80s were the hay day for the novelty counter stamps on Lincoln Cents. I've ran across some Canadian Small Cents but very few.

This was an elusive symbol to find a meaning of. The only place I could find a reference to it was in this municipal website for Grove, Oklahoma and I saw a broach with the same design. It is of a cross and a shepherd's hook. It is the symbol for the White Shrine of Jerusalem. More to be read in this link for those interested:
