1940 LWC with a T in a triangle counter stamp. . .

Did some quick searches online for a possible meaning behind this counter stamp. Came up empty.

Masonic stamped 1964 Canadian Small Cent. . .

Canadian Small Cents are hard to come by with counter stamps on them. For the most part the only counter stamps I've found on them are Masonic. I have to look and see if I have any others. I don't remember.

I believe it is against Canadian law to disfigure the Queen's image on coins/currency. Possibly a Canadian member could comment.

I must apologize that I don't remember the forum member who collected Imperial Glass and brought this image to my attention:
(EDIT: I did a little searching and saw that it was CCF member Rothery that collected Imperial Glass.)

According to my copy of the criminal code (1992-I haven't checked a recent version), defacing a current coin is an offence.
