1998 Lincoln Cent Double Bar Line On "t"

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 12/26/2017 1:50 pm Need a closeup to fully confirm, but this appears to be Plate Disturbance Doubling. If a foreign object(crud, air, moisture) was trapped between the copper plating and zinc core, upon stamping could have produced the "sympathetic" reaction. It isn't a hub doubled event nor is it MD, more evidence would be seen elsewhere on the devices. Darn, beat again! Too wordy... Edited by Crazyb0 12/26/2017 1:51 pm Report this Post to the Staff

In the "bowls" here in Italy there are many pieces of Lincoln, Dime, Quarter, in poor condition. I took this because it was in high conservation. Report this Post to the Staff
